Memorial Day Happenings Around Boulder

It is probably no surprise to you, but summer in Colorado is fleeting. The long days and beautiful nights make for epic camping trips; the snow melt creates world-class river kayaking; and with the kids out of school, it is the perfect time for a trip. And before you know it, August is just a few weeks away, and you try to squeeze every last ounce of “summer” out of the months before it starts cooling down again. BUT! Before we talk about the end of summer, let’s talk about kicking summer off right!

The city of Boulder knows how to do Memorial Day weekend. Boulderites, not known to hibernate in the winter, seem even more full of life than normal at the unofficial kickoff to summer. With endless activities throughout the city over the weekend, be sure to see just one of the many things that makes Boulder special. While you’re going back and forth from the amazing offering of awesome Boulder hosts this weekend, be sure to stop by and see us for a quick bite or a drink to refuel on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Without further ado, here’s a list of some of the biggest events happening in town this weekend.
